Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Stylistz (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the StylistzSP mobile application (the “App”). StylistzSP is intended for salon and beauty parlour owners and managers.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide and information generated when you use the App:
Information you provide
- Mobile phone number — for login, OTP verification, and account identification
- Name and salon profile details — such as salon name, owner/contact name, and business information
- Salon address and location — including map coordinates you set during signup or profile setup, so customers can find your business on the consumer app
- Business data — services, staff, bookings, offers, packages, bills, and wallet transactions you manage in the App
- Payment-related information — when you add money to your salon wallet, payment is processed through our payment partner (see Section 4)
Information collected automatically
- Device and app information — such as device type, operating system, app version, and general usage data
- Push notification token — so we can send booking alerts and other notifications
- Analytics and app event data — such as screens viewed, app opens, and in-app actions (e.g. completing setup, creating an offer)
- Advertising identifiers (where permitted) — on iOS, only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission; used for app install and advertising measurement
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your salon account
- Operate core App features — bookings, services, staff, offers, packages, billing, and wallet
- Display your salon location and address to customers on the Stylistz consumer app
- Send push notifications about bookings and account activity
- Process wallet top-up payments
- Improve the App, fix issues, and understand how features are used
- Measure app installs and marketing performance
- Comply with legal obligations
We use your phone number, name, and salon details only for operating the App and related Stylistz services. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these situations:
- Stylistz servers — data is stored and processed on our backend infrastructure to run the App
- Customers using the Stylistz consumer app — salon name, address, location, services, offers, and other business information you choose to publish are visible to customers for booking purposes
- Service providers — trusted third parties that help us operate the App (listed in Section 4)
- Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
4. Third-Party Services
StylistzSP uses the following third-party services:

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and terms. We share only what is necessary for the App to function.
5. Meta (Facebook) SDK
StylistzSP includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK for app analytics and advertising measurement — not for Facebook Login.
- We do not use Facebook Login. You sign in with your mobile number and OTP.
- When you share offers or links, the App uses your device’s standard share menu (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram). We do not require you to share through Facebook.
- The Meta SDK may collect app event data such as app installs, app activation, feature usage (e.g. completing salon setup, creating an offer), and wallet purchase events.
iOS – App Tracking Transparency
On iOS, the App may ask for permission to track activity across other companies’ apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). If you allow tracking, Meta may receive advertising-related identifiers to measure app installs and ad performance. If you deny tracking, we still use the Meta SDK for aggregated app event measurement where permitted by Apple and Meta policies.
You can change this later in your iPhone settings: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Android
On Android, the Meta SDK may collect app event and device-related data for analytics and advertising measurement, subject to your device settings and applicable policies.

6. Data Retention and Security
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- You can update salon profile information within the App
- You can control push notifications in your device settings
- On iOS, you can control tracking permission in device settings

8. Children
StylistzSP is a business app for salon owners and managers. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Marketing and Lead Generation (Website)
Separately from the App, Stylistz may run marketing or lead-generation campaigns on its website or other channels. If you submit your email or phone number through those campaigns, we use it only to contact you about Stylistz. That information is not sold and is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
